Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the services provided by Tweak ("we", "our", or "us"). By purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Services
Tweak provides professional freelance services including, but not limited to:
• CV writing, editing and optimisation
• Cover letters and LinkedIn profiles
• Career coaching and personal branding
• Recruitment support and recruiter partnerships
• Recruitment marketing
• Marketing strategy
• Brand messaging
• Copywriting
• Content creation
• Social media management
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
• Email marketing
• Personal assistant and executive support services
• Website management
• Business consultancy and project support
The majority of our services are delivered directly by Tweak.
For specialist services requiring additional expertise, including but not limited to:
Website design and development
Paid advertising
Public Relations (PR)
Branding and visual identity
Photography
Videography
We may work with trusted freelance collaborators from our established network. Where this happens, Tweak remains your primary point of contact and manages the project and quality assurance throughout. We will always be transparent about who is delivering each element of the work.
2. Quotes, Proposals and Scope of Work
Before work begins, we will agree:the services being provided; the project scope; deliverables; estimated timescales; pricing; and payment schedule. Any work requested outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which will always be discussed and approved before work begins.
3. Retainers and Ongoing Support
For ongoing marketing or personal assistant support, clients may purchase monthly retainers. Each retainer includes a clearly agreed allocation of hours or days per calendar month. Retainers provide dedicated time on your business rather than unlimited support or on-demand availability. Unused hours do not automatically roll over unless otherwise agreed in writing. If additional work is requested beyond the agreed allocation, this will be quoted separately or billed at the agreed hourly rate.
4. Recruitment Services and Recruiter Partnerships
Where Tweak provides recruitment-related services, including CV writing for candidates, recruitment marketing, recruiter partnerships or talent support, we act solely as an independent service provider.
Unless expressly agreed in writing:
• Tweak does not act as an employment agency or employment business.
• We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, placements or successful hires.
• We do not make hiring decisions on behalf of employers.
• We are not responsible for decisions made by recruiters, employers or third-party hiring platforms.
• Any introductions between candidates and recruiters are made in good faith but without guarantee of employment or ongoing commercial relationships.
Clients remain responsible for ensuring that any recruitment activities carried out through Tweak comply with all relevant employment, equality and data protection legislation.
5. Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver our services effectively, clients agree to: provide accurate and complete information; provide requested assets, content and approvals promptly; respond to communications within a reasonable time frame; ensure they have permission to use any materials supplied to Tweak. Delays in receiving required information or approvals may impact agreed delivery dates.
6. Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times will be agreed before work begins. Delivery times may vary depending on:project complexity; client response times;r equested revisions; and availability of third-party suppliers where applicable. Where delays occur outside of our control, we will keep you informed.
7. Revisions
Where applicable, projects include the number of revisions specified within your proposal or package. Additional revisions or significant changes outside the original brief may be chargeable.
8. Payment
Payment terms will be outlined within your quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed: invoices are payable within 30 days; work may not commence until payment or deposit has been received; retainers are payable in advance each month. Late payments may result in work being paused until outstanding balances have been settled.
9. Refunds
Due to the nature of bespoke creative and consultancy services, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. If you are dissatisfied with the work provided, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue through the agreed revision process.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing: all work remains the intellectual property of Tweak until full payment has been received; once payment has been made in full, ownership of final approved deliverables transfers to the client;Tweak retains the right to showcase completed work within its portfolio, website or marketing materials unless a confidentiality agreement has been agreed in advance. Any third-party assets remain subject to their own licensing terms.
11. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose commercially sensitive information without permission unless required by law. Likewise, clients agree not to share Tweak's proprietary processes, templates or internal documentation without written consent.
12. Third-Party Services
Where third-party platforms or suppliers are used (including website hosting, email providers, advertising platforms or freelance specialists), Tweak cannot be held responsible for:platform outages; changes to third-party services; policy changes; delays caused by external providers.
13. Results Disclaimer
Whilst Tweak applies professional expertise and industry best practice to every project, we cannot guarantee specific results.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• job interviews
• job offers
• successful recruitment
• candidate placements
• search engine rankings
• website traffic
• social media growth
• enquiries
• lead generation
• sales
• business growth
• media coverage
• return on investment
Many outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including market conditions, third-party platforms, client implementation and decisions made by employers or recruiters.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tweak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or financial losses arising from the use of our services.Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the relevant project or service.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing agreement by providing written notice.Where work has already been completed or time has been allocated prior to termination, the client remains responsible for payment for services delivered. Monthly retainers require 30 days' written notice unless otherwise agreed.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time.The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
