How we helped a specialist legal chambers modernise its marketing and grow business income
This case study covers our ongoing work with a specialist legal barristers chambers, supporting their marketing, digital presence and client growth across several connected projects, from a full website rebuild to email marketing and barrister-led content strategy.
-
The chambers' existing website had weak SEO, a poor user experience, and limited ability to convert visitors into direct-access enquiries — restricting a genuine growth opportunity in an increasingly digital-first market.
-
Email marketing to clients and referrers was generic and poorly targeted, generating low engagement and doing little to support business development.
-
Deep legal expertise existed across the barristers individually, but it wasn't being turned into structured content, thought leadership, or consistent external communication; meaning the chambers' collective expertise wasn't visible to the clients and referrers who needed to find it.
Client’s challenges
-
We led a full redesign of the website's architecture, content and user journeys; with a specific focus on improving the direct-access enquiry pathway, alongside a dedicated SEO strategy and conversion tracking.
-
We rebuilt the chambers' email approach around personalised, segmented content, introducing A/B testing to continually improve engagement rather than guessing at what worked.
-
We coordinated contributions from barristers across the chambers to create reusable knowledge resources and thought-leadership content, and delivered personal branding support to help individual barristers engage confidently with marketing and external communication for the first time.
-
Every project was tracked against clear KPIs, so decisions were made on evidence rather than instinct; and so the chambers could see, in numbers, what the investment was actually delivering.
